Discovering new audiences on Twitter
For organic consumers of Twitter, there's an unspoken question about who their followers are. Extend this question to advertisers, really big advertisers, and we find a market opportunity.
For this project we deprecated a previous version of the Followers dashboard and surveyed all of this additional audience criteria we use for ad campaign targeting, but had previously been exposing on the front end. This surveying and grouping of content created it's own challenges like, would we be comfortable exposing the same information across all audience types?
One part product definition, one part political navigation, and one part information design, we arrived at an MVP that we could debate over and release to customers to get feedback on.
